Message	is raised mechanically, not electronically by the ECU. The ECU's fueling and timing maps from the factory are not suitable for running 14-15psi of boost pressure so the parameters must be changed in order to safely allow the boost to be raised. The additional power comes from more boost and the safety comes from remapping the ECU to properly handle the increased boost pressure.
